Does Paul Bunyan Natural Gas install or repair appliances?
Paul Bunyan does not install or repair appliances. A contractor is needed to install any appliances a customer wishes to connect to natural gas, as well as any piping that is necessary inside the house.

Does Paul Bunyan Natural Gas relight pilot lights?
We will relight pilot lights if:

• The meter has been changed out
• Routine maintenance has been performed on the gas lines
• Routine maintenance has been performed on the meter and equipment
• The meter is being unlocked

How does the BTU content of natural gas compare to other heating sources?

Natural gas lines are located underground, damaging or disturbing these lines could result in disruption of services, expensive repairs or personal injury.

Any type of excavation requires location of utilities. This can be done through Gopher State One Call or 811. Once Gopher State One Call receives the request for location of utilities the request is then forwarded on to the proper agencies, including Paul Bunyan Natural Gas.

By calling 811 gas, electric, water, sewer, and communication lines will be located with just one phone call. This needs to be done 72 hours prior to the planned work. Only lines owned by agencies will be located, privately owned lines such as sprinkler systems are not located.
